The United Church of AtheismAs if having groups and any kind of organisation isn't bad enough, having some kind of formal religious style organisation would be the ultimate wrong for many atheists. But are we simply being closed minded?
Establishing a "United Church of Atheism" would add some real firepower to the barrels of theists and would defeat the point of atheism.
However it would provide us with an organisation and a voice.
This talk will (hopefully) inspire an open debate on the idea and while it will not advocate it, I'm sure we're open minded enough to engage in the academic discourse surrounding the topic.
