Let's Talk About Dying: A terminally-ill doctor talks about her experiences

Dr. Kate Granger was recently diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of cancer. In her book, 'The Other Side' she writes about her experiences and how they have changed her beliefs and attitudes.

In this talk, Dr. Granger will discuss her decision to stop treatment for the cancer, her attitudes to dying and the impact of her illness on her as a doctor.

This promises to be a fascinating evening that will challenge your views on death. It is being run by the Leeds Atheist & Humanist Society though this event is open to anybody (student & non-student). This is a topic that should be of interest to practically everyone and we hope to see a diverse audience of different faiths / beliefs, backgrounds and ages.

Furthermore, entry is FREE to this event. The talk will be followed by a Q&A session and an informal book signing.
