Weekend Away

Every year A-Soc hosted a legendary weekend in London. Last year's trip will see us visit the South Place Ethical Society, Scientology Centre, Speakers' Corner to do some preaching and more. Plus while we were down there, there were a few good nights out as well - not bad for a weekend!

The 2009 trip will be taking place 27 - 29 November and will be priced at £85 for members and £95 for non-members. This is half the cost it would cost you to do it on your own thanks to our group bookings. This will cover your transport to London and back and your accommodation. You just need to bring some cash for shopping, food and drink, etc.

The trip is open to everybody (though of course, members get a big discount) so sign up now! There are only a limited number of places given away on a first come first served basis and your place isn't confirmed until you have paid. Speak to any committee member to sign up or sign up online.

We are staying in a rather fancy youth hostel. While it is a hostel so it's dorm sleeping but you won't be sharing with randoms, we book entire dorms out for the society. It's also one of the better class hostels with continental buffet breakfasts, internet, wifi, 24/7 access, no curfews and is in a prime location just off Euston Road (so right in the centre of London!).
