Leeds A-Soc was founded by a passionate New Atheist and one of our core aims of the society is to promote atheist thinking within the student community.
A-Soc regularly holds awareness events including our annual Reason Week event and Darwin Day celebration.
We regularly hold screenings of of Richard Dawkins films and indeed often debate about Dawkins himself and the impact he has had on the discussion surrounding religion.
We also believe in playing as hard as we work holding at least weekly socials usually with other nights thrown in there as well.
